The Kansas City Chiefs received some unsettling news before their bye week.
Today, the league imposed a suspension on one of the team's greatest players. According to reports, the NFL has handed out a two-game punishment to star pass rusher Frank Clark.
According to journalist Adam Teicher, Kansas City Chiefs DE Frank Clark has received a two-game NFL suspension for breaking the league's personal behavior policy.
"This week the Chiefs are off. Clark won't play against the Titans in Week 9 or the Jaguars in Week 10. He will play the Chargers in Week 11 back."
Along with inside defensive tackle Chris Jones, Clark is one of the Chiefs' top pass rushers. He has four tackles for loss and three sacks, which puts him third on the team.
The Chiefs defense will have to play top running back Derrick Henry in one of the games he's missing, which is a harsh blow.
