A Legendary MLB Manager Is Said To Be Planning A Retirement

According to reports, a great MLB manager will call it quits after the 2022 regular season.

Tony La Russa, manager of the Chicago White Sox, has had a difficult season. On the field, the White Sox fell short of the postseason expectations. La Russa had some health problems off of it.

Bob Nightengale of USA TODAY MLB says that La Russa is anticipated to call it a career.

He writes in his Sunday Notebook that Tony La Russa is anticipated to announce his resignation as White Sox manager.

The White Sox were not transformed by Hall of Fame manager La Russa into a World Series contender.

He still possesses his St. Louis crowns, though.
