Following an 84-0 victory over Ygnacio Valley-Concord last week, College Park-Pleasant Hill's second-year football coach Travis Raciti
and his athletic director have been suspended for the final two games of the regular season, according to the San Jose Mercury News.
Adam Clark, superintendent of the Mt. Diablo Unified School District, reportedly made the choice.
Raciti, a defensive end who played at San Jose State before spending three seasons with the practice squads of the Philadelphia Eagles,
Minnesota Vikings, and Denver Broncos, has helped the College Park team, which had a record of 26-40 from 2014 to the spring of 2021, turn things around.
The Mercury News quoted Ygnacio Valley coach Rae Jackson as saying, "I genuinely believe they were trying to put up 100 points, man."
