After suffering a quad injury in Week 1

Cowboys DE Tarell Basham's 21-day practice window was activated.

On Wednesday, head coach Mike McCarthy activated Tarell Basham's 21-day practice window.

Meaning the 28-year-old may return to the active roster at any moment over the next three weeks and might play.

While playing in the season opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Basham was injured in his quad.

(John Ridgeway, a rookie defensive lineman, was released with the intention of re-signing him to the practice squad, but Washington picked him up.)

The Ohio University alum is in the second and final year of the two-year deal
