An Open Letter From Dusty Baker To Bryce Harper

In the World Series, the Houston Astros' designated hitter hasn't produced much, and manager Dusty Baker addressed that issue on Friday.

Baker acknowledged the role of Bryce Harper, a standout pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies, in the Astros' current predicament.

According to Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle, Baker told reporters, "It'd be a whole lot easier if I had a Bryce Harper-type DH."

With one home run and two RBI in the World Series, Harper is batting.250. The All-Star slugger has also been struck by a pitch once and walked four times.

Yordan Alvarez, David Hensley, and Trey Mancini have been the Astros' designated hitters, respectively.

At designated hitter, Alvarez undoubtedly gives the Astros the greatest pop, but he's only hitting.105 in the World Series.
