On Thursday night, Brian Hartline gave his assessment of the wide receivers for Chicago.
Despite receiving little assistance from his receivers, Justin Fields had another difficult game on Thursday night as the Bears fell to the Commanders 12-7. Fields threw for less than 200 yards.
The only pass receiver for Chicago with more than 200 receiving yards this season is Darnell Mooney, and the Bears are one of just two teams with less than 900 receiving yards overall.
On Thursday night, one of Fields' former college coaches saw the receivers' difficulties.
During the game, Ohio State's wide receivers coach, Brian Hartline, tweeted his unvarnished view on the Bears' receivers.
Following a successful NFL career, Hartline has spent the last five years at Ohio State, the last four of those as the wide receivers coach.
