Bengals lose their best playmaker due to a permanent injury.

The troubles of the Cincinnati Bengals have been well-documented since they were humiliated by the Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football.

Several hours after the game, the Bengals are still making up the losses. Chidobe Awuzi, the starting No. 1 cornerback, sustained a season-ending injury during the game.

According to a source, #Bengals CB Chidobe Awuzie tore his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) against the Browns last night and will be out for the rest of the campaign. 

Kelsey Conway tweeted, "A heartbreaking blow for the Bengals as they lose their #1 CB in the middle of the season.

"I feel bad for Chido. The past two years, he has been playing at a Pro Bowl, verging on All-Pro level, his finest ball of his career. 

A full recuperation and a greater comeback are wished for, Jake Savage stated.Awuze made a total of two tackles in the Browns defeat.
