Inspired by bang bang chicken, which is cooked, shredded, and served with a spicy sauce. The Bonefish Grill version uses crispy fried shrimp and a mayo-based sauce.
10-15 minutes before serving, combine shrimp and buttermilk. Ignore.
Mayonnaise, Thai chilli sauce, and sriracha should be whisked together.
Preheat a cast-iron skillet, Dutch oven, or deep fryer to 375°F. Drain the shrimp from the buttermilk and toss them in cornstarch.
Fry shrimp in batches until golden, 3-4 minutes.While the shrimp are still hot, toss them in the sauce to coat them.
Serve over greens with green onions. Instantly enjoy!
