Cameron Young won the Arnold Palmer Award as PGA Tour's Rookie of the Year for the 2021–22 season.

Cameron Young almost won his first PGA Tour event during the 2020-21 season. 

Five times, including the 150th Open Championship at St. Andrews, he finished in second place.

However, when it came to the Arnold Palmer Award, he did not finish second. 

On Wednesday, it was revealed that Young had won the Rookie of the Year award for the Tour. 

The Wake Forest alumnus, at 25 years old, finished second in the Sanderson Farms Championship

The Genesis Invitational, the Wells Fargo Championship, and the Rocket Mortgage Classic.
