Charles Barkley once received a blunt lesson from Michael Jordan about keeping his word.

When Scottie Pippen was marketing his book, he frequently said things that raised questions.

Charles Barkley, one of the top athletes who made the shift to the media, eventually addressed some of them, particularly those pertaining to the money aspect of things.

Pip had no reason to be upset with Jordan, at least from a contractual standpoint, according to the Round Mound of Rebound.

In a SiriusXM interview that was recorded and is available on Youtube, Chuck said, "I actually was caught in the exact same circumstance as Scottie.

"I was probably defrauded of at least $100 million. So, if my memory of The Last Dance is accurate, Scottie and I were most likely in the same circumstance.

My first agent was a thief, and as a result, he stole all of my money. So, four years later, I was bankrupt. I visited the Sixers during that time since nobody was yet generating a lot of money.
