Every woman over 40 should use this cheap anti-aging skincare product, say derms

A few inexpensive ingredients can improve your skin's texture. UV damage causes fine lines, wrinkles, and sun spots, so wear sunscreen or a moisturiser with SPF.

Hyaluronic acid hydrates well. Dermatologists typically recommend retinol to persons over 40.

Dr. Yoram Harth, MDhair's medical director, claimed retinol is related to vitamin A.

Retinol molecules promote elastin and collagen formation in the dermis. Collagen and elastin diminish retinol and minimise wrinkles and pores.

Retinol exfoliates the epidermis, which improves skin texture and reduces hyperpigmentation, Dr. Harth said.

Retinol enhances epidermal retinoid cell turnover and dilates dermal capillaries, giving skin a fresher, younger look.
