FIFA announces locations for World Cup fan watching events

A/P ZURICH — Six venues across the world will host fan festivals during the World Cup in Qatar, including Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro and Dubai Harbour in the United Arab Emirates.

music events will also be held in Mexico City's Plaza de la Republica, Sao Paulo's Anhangaba Valley, and downtown nightclub locations in London and Seoul, South Korea.

Additionally, the tournament's organizers have secured the services of electronic music acts from Saudi Arabia and England.

At the locations co-organized by FIFA and longtime World Cup sponsor AB InBev, which makes the Budweiser, Corona, and Brahma brands

According to a statement released by FIFA on Monday, certain activities will have free admission while others will charge admission.

FIFA also provided further information on the music activities scheduled for Qatar from November 20 to December 18.
