Former starting quarterback for college football transfers

Lewis expressed his gratitude to the University of Colorado, his teammates, coaches, and the Buff Nation for all of their support throughout the years.

I've decided I need to look into my other possibilities and see who can best prepare me for the future because of the different changes I've experienced over my three years at CU.

Lewis had 1,540 passing yards, 10 passing touchdowns, and three interceptions during his first season as a starter. For the 4-8 Buffaloes, he completed just 58 percent of his passes.

In Colorado's season-opening defeat to TCU, Lewis was benched in favor of J.T. Shrout.

The starting position has subsequently been taken by freshman Owen McCown, the son of former NFL quarterback Josh McCown.

Because the program sacked head coach Karl Dorrell during the season, he is permitted to access the transfer portal during a closed window.
