Karl-Anthony Towns of the Timberwolves is in the NBA world's prayers.

Jordyn Woods, Karl-Anthony Towns' girlfriend, revealed the NBA star's recent hospitalization for an unknown ailment on Sunday.

Towns has rejoined the Minnesota Timberwolves, but he won't take the court until the team's preseason campaign gets underway. The three-time All-Star appeared to be seriously ill.

Towns informed reporters today that he has lost weight and has only recently begun walking again after his non-COVID sickness. He is at 231 pounds.

Towns has experienced a lot recently, including losing his mother to COVID in 2020, so it's not surprising that many are hoping for his recovery and good fortune.

Towns won't be taking the field when the Timberwolves play their first preseason game against the Miami Heat tomorrow night.

We'll have to wait and see if he'll be available for the Lakers game on Thursday. The opening game of Minnesota's 2022–23 regular season versus Oklahoma City is scheduled for October 19.
