Mistakes that everyone does with their slow cookers

Don't open the lid to peer inside the slow cooker; doing so releases steam and cools the food.

It takes a while for the heat to build up, so sneaking a glance at your food too soon will just lengthen the cooking time.

Only remove the cover to add ingredients (such as herbs) at the conclusion of the cooking procedure.

In order to get a tender, juicy, and flavorful end result with less expensive cuts of meat (flank, chuck), a slow cooker is recommended.

Moreover, fatty slices keep the meat moist and tender. Grill only the best slices of meat.

You may throw raw meat into the cooker, but you'll be missing out on a lot of flavor if you don't sear it first (with the notably exception of chicken).
