MLB World Responds To Juan Soto's Shameful Act

The San Diego Padres and Juan Soto have not fared well in the top of the second inning of this afternoon's Game 2 of the NLCS.

Due in large part to Soto's terrible error in right field, the Philadelphia Phillies scored four runs in the frame.

Thanks to the sun at Petco Park, what ought to have been a sacrifice fly for the second out of the inning and an RBI became a run-scoring double and no out.

Soto lost sight of the ball and was unable to complete what appeared to be a simple move.

In the second inning, Brandon Drury, the first baseman, also made a fielding error that led to a run-scoring groundout instead of an inning-ending double play.

"Juan Soto is able to take another run because the Sun is in his eyes. Perhaps the Phillies are a Team of Destiny "Heavy's Sean Barnard tweeted.
