Malika Andrews keeps moving up the ESPN corporate ladder. She will lead the NBA Countdown studio program every Wednesday in the 2022–23 season, it was revealed on Friday.
Andrews occasionally stepped in for Mike Greenberg during the previous campaign. Her prior expertise should help her adapt easily.
"I get to work with the same individuals every day, and we kind of have the same vibe, feel, and connection. Simply at a different moment, according to Andrews, as quoted by the Associated Press.
The responses on social media indicate that Andrews has the support of NBA fans.
One individual reacted to the news by saying, "Well earned." "Malika, fool the dumb haters! oldest person running it!"Get it girl," said another commenter.
Andrews' newest position will further expand her responsibilities at ESPN. She will carry on hosting NBA Today and contributing to the network's NBA Draft coverage.
