Running back Kareem Hunt of the Cleveland Browns made a trade request over the summer, and the Browns apparently agreed to do so before today's deadline.
But at 4 p.m. The deadline to complete a deal has just gone at ET. Hunt is a Brown still.
According to reports, Cleveland sought a fourth-round selection in exchange for Hunt, but it appears that no team was willing to pay that amount.
One Browns supporter commented, "Love it! Trading him for anything less would've been dumb."
A fan of the Eagles tweeted, "I would have fired the shot, but I'm honestly delighted with our team moving ahead."
Another Eagles supporter who obviously has other opinions and believes General Manager Howie Roseman ought to have paid for Hunt remarked, "Come on now Howie."
