NFL Determines Mac Jones' Penalty Following Dirty Slid

Patriots quarterback Mac Jones has been charged with dirty play twice in his first two seasons.

The most recent incident involved him kicking a Chicago Bears defender in the groin while attempting to slide.

The NFL decided not impose a penalty on Patriots quarterback Mac Jones for his slip and cleating of Jaquan Brisker on Monday night, according to Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports.

Jones' slide resembled Tom Brady's during his time playing for the New England Patriots, in which Brady targeted his foot at the crotch of an opposing defender.

There were numerous calls for Jones to be fined or punished on Monday night, but it doesn't appear that the Patriots quarterback will be getting any mail from the National Football League.

Despite being benched in the game against the Bears, Jones is expected to start this week's game after dealing with some quarterback controversy.
