After receiving the all-clear, Russell Wilson will start for the Denver Broncos against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday in London.
With a hamstring injury, Wilson missed the Broncos' Week 7 loss to the New York Jets and has been limited in practice this week.
The Denver quarterback stated earlier this week that he planned to play, and on Friday, head coach Nathaniel Hackett made the announcement official.
Wilson's return to action sparked a Twitter response from the NFL community. One fan commented, "I guess all those high knees on the plane must have paid off."
Wilson and the Broncos' new collaboration is off to a terrible start. Under the veteran quarterback, the team has a record of 2-5, losing each of their last four contests.
With just five touchdowns and three interceptions through his first six games, Wilson is posting some of the worst stats of his career.
