No. 20 Men's Hockey Opens Season at MDU

This weekend, men's hockey will face No. 19 Minnesota Duluth in Duluth, Minnesota.

Cornell's season opener is a marquee matchup. Minnesota Duluth is one of college hockey's blue chip programmes, having won three national titles since 2011.

Mike Schafer '86, the current manager, said they're great. Great talent, coaching, and culture.

The Red's first game since March is against the Bulldogs (2-4). Minnesota Duluth has played six games in three weeks.

The Bulldogs started the season ranked No. 4 and with Frozen Four aspirations.

After sweeping Arizona State at home to start the season, Duluth lost to No. 5 Minnesota State and unranked Wisconsin.
