Obi Toppin Renewed for Another Year, Averaging Over 9 Points Per Game

New York has exercised the $6.8 million club option in rookie forward Obi Toppin's contract for the 2023-24 NBA season.

The news was broken by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski before the Knicks' game against the Hornets on Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden.

In 137 career games, Toppin has averaged 6.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 52.2% shooting from the field.

In the regular season, he has put up 9.3 points and 3.7 rebounds per game on average.
