By a score of 48-34, the ninth-ranked Ole Miss Rebels defeated the unranked Auburn Tigers at home on Saturday.
However, the game's greatest hit didn't occur during live action. A security crew was shown destroying a streaker on the scene.
In the last minutes of the game, Ole Miss had a 48-34 lead when lightning struck and stopped play. A streaker onto the field at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium soon after authorities announced
the 30-minute delay. Before being gang tackled in the end zone by members of the Mississippi State Highway Patrol, the streaker sprinted for an admirably long 50 yards.
Keith Bridges tweeted, "The Ole Miss/Auburn game is always unusual, and we can add a streaker and lightning delay to the lengthy list of things."
Next Saturday, when Ole Miss takes on Brian Kelly and the unranked LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge, they hope to keep their undefeated record intact.
