The Raiders released a statement this week confirming the passing of Clarence Davis, a running back for the team from 1971 through 1978. Age-wise, he was 73.

Davis reserved some of his greatest efforts for the team's biggest games, as the Raiders statement acknowledged.
Davis caught a last-ditch throw from quarterback Ken Stabler during a "Sea of Hands" in a 1974 playoff game versus Miami
