Reactions to Jeff Scott's Termination in the College Football World

Jeff Scott, the head coach, has been fired by the institution. In almost three complete seasons as head coach, he had a 4-26 record.

In a statement to corroborate the information, USF athletic director Michael Kelly claimed that Scott wasn't living up to the standards set by the program.

We had great hopes for Jeff's ability to advance our football program when he arrived in Tampa in December of 2019," Kelly added. "While he accomplished many positive things,

including as reviving our culture, advancing our Indoor Performance Facility, and involving the community, the on-field outcomes fell far short of our expectations.

We want the best for the future for him, Sara, Savannah, and Hunter since they are all wonderful people and people of class."

Fans of college football are not shocked by this information. For the balance of the season, Daniel Da Prato will serve as the team's interim head coach.
