Rockies defeat Dodgers for the third time in a row.

In Los Angeles On Wednesday afternoon, the Dodgers will wrap up their regular season with a record number of victories

and an uncomfortable reminder of how unpredictable best-of-five postseason series can be: any club may win or lose three straight games.

The Colorado Rockies (68-93) are the last-place team in the National League West, and they have defeated the Dodgers the previous three nights (110-51). The game on Tuesday,

which was lost 5-2 in front of an announced crowd of 51,833 at Dodger Stadium, was decided by Randal Grichuk's two-run home run against Andrew Heaney in the seventh inning.

Following the end of the game on Wednesday, the Dodgers will have five days off.

After that, they will host the winner of the best-of-three National League Division Series between the New York Mets and San Diego Padres.
