Shoe store owner in Texas tricks burglars

A Fort Worth, Texas, shoe store was burglarized Friday morning, but the thieves were foiled by the shop's security measures.

Laced Connection owner Chad Steward posted surveillance video of the burglary on Facebook Sunday, showing three men rummaging through shoe boxes.

The men were bagging Yeezys, Nikes, and other expensive shoes.
The men opened the boxes and discovered each had one shoe.

"They were probably kicking, punching, or doing something," he said.

After failing to get through the window, the men broke through a door with two padlocks. Steward thinks they used a crowbar to enter.

"It would have taken them a while to get in," said Steward. "Thank goodness I took precautions."
