Shohei Ohtani shocks Los Angeles Angels by roasting them

Despite having two of the top players in Major League Baseball, including past MVPs Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout, on its roster, the Los Angeles Angels have had a lot of recent difficulty.

It's uncommon to hear a player publicly express unhappiness when a club suffers like the Angels have, but Ohtani didn't back down from sharing his direct opinions.

Shohei Ohtani was frank about his team's season-long performance in an interview with ESPN.

Ohtani was fairly open and honest regarding the performance of the other members of the squad even though he called the team's 2022 season "a good season for me personally."

Speaking in Japanese, Ohtani reportedly added, "I have to confess that August and September in especially felt longer to me than last year."

"We were unable to play as many quality contests as we would have liked, including 14 straight defeats. I therefore have a poor opinion of this season.
