Starbucks barista issues public service announcement on the term "black coffee"

TikTok user @StarbucksBarista made a public service message informing consumers what they are purchasing when they ask for a "black coffee.

In the video, user Danielle (@thehighbarista) defines the drink for viewers.

"Um, in case you didn't know, when you order a black coffee, it simply means there's nothing in it,.

 Danielle informed her 15,000 followers.

The barista said that it's not uncommon for customers to order black coffee but then ask for sugar and cream.

Danielle clarifies, "That's not a black coffee anymore."
