starting lineup for the NASCAR playoffs at Charlotte Roval

Joey Logano secured his third pole of the 2022 season after completing a lap of 80.755 (103.424 mph) in the last round of qualifying for the Bank of America

Roval 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday. Logano's victory is his first on a road course since Sonoma Raceway in 2011 and the 25th of his Cup career.

Ross Chastain and Logano were two of the eight playoff drivers that advanced to the final round of qualifying.

Chastain, however, would meet his demise before the race had started when he veered off course in Turn 5, crashing into the tire barrier with his left front and driver's side.

Chastain was still able to qualify for the final round and place 10th despite the serious damage to his racecar.

He collided with the wall in Oval Turn 3. Daly will start shotgun on the field in 39th after failing to undertake a qualifying run.
