Chase Elliott won the race at Talladega Superspeedway, regaining the lead in the NASCAR Cup playoffs going into the 2022 YellaWood 500. Dale Earnhardt Jr. reflected after the race.
Earnhardt praised Elliott for running "a clinic" of a race at Talladega on Twitter on Sunday.
He also commended all of the drivers for avoiding any major collisions, demonstrating that an entire race could be completed without one.
"What a great day at work. Lately, @chaseelliott performed really well and put on a clinic. The way that race unfolded was exceptional and different from anything we see at Dega.
