After engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a student, who he later married and had children with, the RE instructor was expelled from the profession.
While working at Largs Academy in North Ayrshire and dating Megan Reid, who was over 16, in 2015, Gavin Dunsmuir was discovered to have had an affair.
The 50-year-old then got rid of his wife and moved in with Ms. Reid, who is now 25. They later got married and had two kids together.
Following the General Teaching Council for Scotland's examination into the couple's relationship, Dunsmuir has now been struck off the teaching registry (GTCS).
By going to a pub with Ms. Reid and some of her former students, Dunsmuir developed an improper relationship with her, according to their findings.
Additionally, they discovered that he had taken Ms. Reid to a coworker's house where he spent time with her and his daughter.
