The Bucs have re-signed a prominent wide receiver.

The Buccaneers have added wide receiver Tyler Johnson to their practice squad, according to Dov Kleiman. He was initially waived from the roster before the current season.

He was taken off waivers by the Houston Texans after being cut during roster reductions. He played for the Texans in two games but failed to register a reception.

Last Wednesday, he was once more placed on waivers before being claimed by the Bucs.

Over the past two seasons, Johnson has appeared in 31 games for the Bucs. In that time, he has 48 receptions for 529 yards and two scores.

Before Tampa Bay's upcoming contest on November 6 against the Los Angeles Rams, he will probably be added to the 53-man roster.

CBS will broadcast the game nationally beginning at 4:25 p.m. ET.
