According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, former Los Angeles Chargers defensive tackle Jerry Tillery had eight clubs put in a waiver claim on him.
The Detroit Lions were one of them.
Tillery, the No. 28 overall pick in this year's draft, was claimed by the Las Vegas Raiders (2-7) according to the order of the teams' standings on the waiver wire.
A number of teams, including the Panthers, Colts, 49ers, Jets, Giants, Chiefs, and Lions, reportedly passed on the 26-year-old, as reported by Schefter.
And the Lions would make a lot of sense by making that switch. Inside on defense.
Michael Brockers hasn't played since Week 5 and Levi Onwuzurike is sidelined for the year.
