The Real Cause for the Ban on Harry Potter Books

We imagine that even though J.K. Rowling has received a lot of criticism for her "Harry Potter" books.

She would not be pleased if they were banned.

Some people have been upset by the wholly fictitious Harry Potter series since since the first book.

"Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," came out in 1998 (via Vox).

According to CBC, there have been six book burnings in the United States related to the series. 

This is not a new phenomenon; according to the American Library Association's banned books website.
