Cherelle Griner, the wife of WNBA player Brittney Griner, has spoken on the phone twice with the athlete since her arrest in February.
She said that it was "delightful just to hear her voice" on the first call. The second was not as enjoyable."You could see she wasn't feeling well.
In a recent interview with CBS Mornings, Cherelle remarked, "If you think about merely a person's suffering and when they have endured to a limit...she was at the max that day.
The second phone chat she had with Griner was described by the woman as the "most upsetting" she had ever had.
She claimed, "I guess I sobbed nonstop for two or three days." The call was the most upsetting I'd ever received.
