Tom Brady is criticized for being roughed up by a former Buccaneers head coach.

In the recent past, there has been a lot of debate in the NFL over what constitutes a roughing the passer infraction.

Tua Tagovailoa, the quarterback for the Miami Dolphins, was concussed against the Bengals on September 29th after being thrown to the ground.

Tom Brady was slammed to the ground in a similar way to Tua by Falcons defensive lineman Grady Jarrett on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, which led to a roughing the passer charge.

With only three minutes left in the game, the Falcons were only behind by six, making it a crucial juncture in the game.

The Buccaneers had just entered Falcons territory when Jarrett was able to sack the Falcons' quarterback on third down, potentially moving the Bucs out of field goal range

and allowing Atlanta a chance to drive the field to win the game. However, Jarrett was called for roughing the passer, which allowed Tampa Bay to win the game.
