Tom Brady's future with the Buccaneers is fraught with doubt.

There have been some decent performances from Brady this season, but he hasn't been spectacular (90.5 passer rating).

He will be 45 years old when free agency begins in 2023, and he has no current plans to sign with a team.

The Buccaneers currently lead their division despite having a subpar record of 4-5.

So even if Brady does decide to play at 46, he may search for a club with a better shot of winning the division.

As The Athletic's Jeff Howe put it on The Herd, "I don't believe he's going to want to come back at age 46 seeing an organization or a squad.

Although Kyle Trask, a second-round selection in 2021, will be Tampa Bay's backup to Brady.
