MIAMI — While speaking at a rally in Miami on Sunday, former President Donald Trump refrained from criticizing Florida Governor Ron DeSantis,
suggesting that DeSantis should be reelection despite their 2024 disagreements becoming more and more public.
A day after publicly criticizing DeSantis at a rally in Pennsylvania and dubbing him "Ron Desanctimonious," the former president made his about-face.
In case both men seek the Republican presidential candidacy in 2024, it was one of Trump's most blatant jabs yet against the governor.
It was Trump's first attempt to use one of his well-known nicknames to refer to the governor of Florida.
