Update on Aaron Hicks From Yankees Following Terrifying Collision

Aaron Hicks, the left fielder for the Yankees, has been eliminated from Game 5 of the Division Series on Tuesday against the Cleveland Guardians.

During a tense collision with teammate Oswaldo Cabrera in the third inning, the New York starter hurt his knee.

The team announced that Hicks had left the stadium and will be having an MRI at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.

MLB veteran Marwin Gonzalez has taken Hicks' place in left field.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, the Yankees are currently up 5-1 on the Guardians.

The New York team will face the awaiting Houston Astros in the ALCS if they can maintain this lead.
