Tanking is abhorred by the NBA league office—the term, the practice, and even the mere hint of it.
But anybody who watched the Victor Wembanyama vs. Scoot Henderson game on Tuesday (also known as the G-league Ignite vs. Metropolitans 92 from France)
The expected first-round choice in the 2023 NBA Draft, Victor Wembanyama, demonstrated why he is a real 7'4" unicorn who is capable of doing everything.
He scored 37 points in total, made 7 of 11 three-pointers, had five blocks, had some handle skills, and even brought the ball up court a few times.
Scoot Henderson, who is predicted to go No. 2 in the upcoming NBA, showed off his explosive athleticism by scoring 28 points, dishing out 9 assists, and pulling down 5 rebounds.
Wembanyama was as impressive on defense for all of his shooting prowess on offense. Players are forced to alter their driving angles to the rim because of his length and agility.
