Illicit Affairs, a married-only dating service, performed a study and polled users to learn more about their dating preferences.
They discovered that there is an increase in infidelity of roughly 22%, with persons most likely to initiate an affair towards the start of the fall.
Many people cited having an affair as being due to the summer.
They believed that spending the lengthy summer months with their spouses while on vacation caused them to grow disinterested in them and made them appear less appealing than normal.
